Good choice
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a basic, easily set up printer with good print quality, it was a good choice. Not particularly fast, but is dependable so far.

Great printer for limited space
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great printer/scanner combo in a small footprint. We didn't want something that would take up a lot of room since it would only be occasionally used. Takes a little bit of time to power on for printing or to warm up the scanner but not long enough to be a problem. Wireless was easy to configure and was instantly discoverable by our Windows and Mac systems.

Great start; check back in 3 months...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super easy automated setup, compact design, and the available price at the time made this purchase a Best Buy winning moment. With this type of printer, the longterm expense of buying more ink is a significant headache, so product suitability is pretty limited to people who don't print much or people who print things that are valuable enough to justify the ink. In both cases, needing no tech support is a huge benefit.

Useful for Set Decor in a Post Apocalyptic World
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was absolute garbage. I have owned a Canon printer for the last 8 years until it recently died. I decided to “upgrade” and purchased this. I have never returned a product so fast. Canon should be embarrassed to even sell this thing. And to ask for $130 original price for it is even wilder. At the time, I did get this on sale, for almost 50% off and I still didn’t think it was worth that. The instructions for start up were awful. The paper tray was finicky and refused to slide into the bottom. You couldn’t see why that was happening without tilting the printer backwards, which then caused the entire top part to flip open backwards (this happened at least five times). The copier lid was flimsy and cheap. None of the plastic edges lined up. Then, let’s say you manage to successfully get the tray back in the bottom and never have the lid fly open, hitting the wall behind your printer, you’ll still have to contend with the ‘paper load error’ or w.e. and the printer pulling multiple chunks of paper through at a time. Oh! You thought the instructions were going to help you, guess again. Perhaps this was a skill issue, but good luck to any daring souls. No idea how this has as many good reviews as it has…

Wonderful Canon printer.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The size on this printer was perfect and it print, copys and scans all so easily. After speaking with a Best Buy associate I decided to try Canon for the first time. I am so happy the associate took the time to talk to me, as I am extremely happy with this printer.

Mostly happy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, so good! I don't print very much, but did need to replace my old printer with something affordable. I've only printed and copied a few documents and a test photo, but those have worked well. The paper compartment is handy, and the ink cartridges are easily replaceable. Something didn't seem to want to cooperate on wi-fi setup, but both laptop and phone worked after a couple tries. I haven't tried scanning photos yet, but know my old Canon printer did well with scanning (till it didn't). The only drawback on this current printer is that the power button seems flimsy. It doesn't make contact easily, and I usually have to push it several times. It feels loose, and I think if something is going to fail on this printer, it will probably be the power button. I'm not sure if this is a common problem with this model or just a problem with my printer. Otherwise, I'm happy with it.

The price was right
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very inexpensive for home use; it satisfies our needs without it being 2-3 times more expensive. Wifi connects easily and set up in just a few minutes. Can print from my phone anywhere there is internet. It prints quickly enough for our needs. We actually got this on sale for less than half the listed price which may affect how you value this product. For us, the price was just right.
