Was considering an HP until I read about their ink subscription service. I got this for $70 around Christmas but I would say this is ideally a $100 value. Was considering a printer from Canon's 7 line that was essentially the same, except that one had a document feeder for $30 more. Didn't need to scan lots of documents so went with this one. It was super easy to set up. Liked the top load option just in case the front feeder isn't working properly. Inputting intricate WiFi passwords can be a pain with the minimal amount of buttons. But really it's only a one time thing. Worked flawlessly with my Dad's Chromebook and phone. Definitely recommend at the price point I got it at. Still a good option with a slightly higher price point.

Wonderful service ! Thanks ! I had troubles with the HP printers but I was really amazed at the service of the management and counter help. Now the in store geek squad couldn't figure anything out and kept suggesting i get a geel Squad tech to come to my home and pay them. Ridiculous... Ive set up printers before and they couldn't or should I say wouldn't attempt to even hook to the printer up and see. If it wasn't for management I wouldn't have gotten anything and you guys would I lost a sale. But yes, I'am happy with the Cannon printer which was on sale at the time for the same price, so I got a better deal and a better printer.

For the price it does the job. The set up was straight forward. The printing and scanning works as expected and is straight forward, Will certainly recommend it.

Changed from HP and Epson to Canon. It works much better than older versions and competition.

Bought this to replace an older canon printer. Its a great value for what you get. When it is set to auto-off it has a hard time reconnecting to my PC via wi-fi. That may be a driver/software issue on my PC. Its worked flawlessly since I disabled auto power off.

Nice printer, but for someone like me-a non-tech type of person-it was a real struggle to attempt to "hook it up". I have had very good experiences with the guys and gals at Best Buy, so...with the help of a person (and some prayer...) it's now hooked up to my PC. It's a versatile machine, as it makes copies and of course, prints. For the price it is a good buy; just needs a "techie" to install it. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

It was easy enough to set up and the connection is pretty good. The printer is great and it doesn't take up a lot of space. I haven't tried to print pictures yet so we'll see. I am pleased with this purchase.

A great printer,at a great price. This is my third Canon printer and the easiest to set up. I'm no tech type by any stretch of the imagination. Its the perfect printer for someone who doesn't print a lot. I say this, because the color cartridge is a three in one. If you print a lot , ink will be wasted.The prints are sharp and clear. That being said, you can't beat it, for the price.

Very easy to set up and start printing. I like that it has a slightly smaller footprint than my older Pixma. I have printed, copied, and scanned with it. I am pleased with my purchase.

I’ve had the printer a couple of days and it was awful until I turned off the Auto-off feature. Now it seems to work great but, obviously, it’s on all the time (defeating the purpose of the Eco Settings). Prior to that, every print job stalled almost immediately and resulted in me having to cancel it. My third Canon printer in five years but I keep coming back for more. It was on sale.

Working great so far. Prints really nice quality photos, and wirelessly through phone QR code. Nice bang for the buck.

Does as needed and is easy to connect to your phone.

Setup took aome time to complete but I am technically challenged sometimes. Extracting the paper tray was the most difficult task. The printer works fine but printing time does seem slow. The printer was priced reasonably and i rarely need to print so it works well for my needs.

This is an upgrade to my prior printer. It was easy to install with the online instructions. I had a small challenge with interfacing with my older pc, but got it done. The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars is because the screen read out is tiny. I like the screen, but I have to be right in front of the printer and almost squinting to read it. Also, the paper holder is very flimsy. Other than that, it's a great printer!!

Nice, simple, wifi and print right from my phone!!

Canon printers don’t disappoint. We didn’t realize that this printer is only accessible via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, so it wouldn’t hook to an older computer. The on button is a little fiddley. When pushing the on botton, it doesn’t always come on, so you have to pay attention and hit the button just right for the computer to turn on. Printing-wise it does a great job.

Great printer and helps with all my work needs. Prints and scan function is superb. Great product!!!
