    I generally use HPs but after having to buy a new printer every year, I am trying Canon. Too bad I have to play with it to scan and the instructions weren't there for it. However, it's ok for printing or copying a page at a time and small jobs.

    I cannot evaluate this printer/copier now because I left the very next morning on a trip after it was delivered. I purchased it because it had 2-sided printing, could copy from a book, and was lightweight, I travel and want to carry it because past experience revealed problems with ink drying from non-use for periods of time. I hope this will work out.

    At first it wa a little difficult to get the printer connected and focus out how to print photos. Once i got it. Works great

    One doesn’t expect a great deal from a device at this price point. I had an earlier Pixma for 11 years before it gave up the ghost and when disassembling it for parts was amazed at the intricacies and finally machined items that made up the unit as a whole. I expect good value for money with this replacement.

    Setup is easy. Printing and copying are good and clear. However it takes a while for it to warm up and get ready to print.
