I switched from HP because this was on sale. It’s slow, their app is very bland. I used to be able to print even if I was away from home with HP and Alexa could print with HP. I can do neither with Cannon

Four stars pending seeing how reliability is. But okay for a new printer. Menu systems are more tedious than they need to be, for sure.

I don’t know if this a Canon issue or I got a dud but this is the worst printer I’ve ever experienced. All I wanted was a simple,no frills photo printer and this seemed like it fit the bill and had excellent reviews. This printer goes through ink like nothing I’ve ever seen. Just from the money I’ve spent in toner, I would’ve been better served getting a laser printer. For what it’s worth, I am skilled at using printers & software regularly..but this printer doesn’t recognize any types of changes made from the app, nor the actual printer and seems to have a mind of its own.

I bought this on Black Friday at a very good discount and for the features and quality it is hard to beat

Wireless operation is seamless. Hope 5G doesn't become 6G because my last printer worked fine until 5G. This printer so far is flawless.

Works as it should always shows low on ink but not a major issue.

I needed a new printer and I have always liked Canon. Yes, they are a little noisy at start up but like the end results, this one is right up there!

I really enjoy my printer. I had a problem connecting it to my computer but I brought it in and they helped me with the set up. That's why I appreciate having a membership. Everyone is helpful when I come in,

Printer is great once you have the setup complete. The process isn’t as intuitive as I would have liked, but luckily you only have to go through that once.

Didn’t care for this printer, was expecting too much simplicity and this was not simple

The Canon was a little difficult to set up, but my Mac is pretty old, so I had to go through Google Chrome instead of Safari, a newer Mac would pose no problem is my understanding.

I love it, I just need one for home use and it’s perfect for that

This printer is kind of confusing to set up, honestly. I bought it because my main printer ran out of ink and the ink cartridges for it were completely out of stock, so I needed a backup. This was the cheapest option. I don't like the low quality print job this does. There are definitely better options if you're planning on doing a lot of printing, but this one is good for that rare occasion that you need to print something.

It doesn't stay on and doesn't actually print that well

Good printer, versatile and fast. Comes without PC cable, best to setup via wifi - Loads of videos onlie with steps. Scanner could be better. Ink options limited.
