I wanted something inexpensive and simple to print spec sheets and manual pages in my workshop, and I am quite pleased with this printer for my needs. Initial opening and setup were simple, including WiFi setup with iPhone 15. Setup with the iMac was not smooth but ultimately achieved. (Fairly poor documentation for Mac setup.) File processing, print speed, and print quality are good, especially considering the price point. I'm particularly pleased that this printer has scanning and automatic duplex printing for the price.

I picked up this printer on sale and I think I got a good deal; the printer wasn't hard to set up (I have a Mac), runs on wireless, and goes pretty quickly for a small unit. The printing quality is good. I have also used the scanner feature and it works pretty well; you can get multiple pages into one document pretty easily. It is a flatbed (no feeder) so that means you do have to babysit it for that—could get frustrating if you have a long document. I haven't printed photos but I think it could handle it well. I have printed on cardstock and it worked fine. I haven't tried odd paper sizes but I think it would handle small fine—not sure about larger. Why doesn't this get 5 stars? It seems to go through ink pretty quickly. I'm about to buy my third cartridge in 2 years (and last time I got the XL size), and that would be fine if I used it a lot more than I do. But I only occasionally print more than a few pages, and that max 1-2 a month, if that. Since I do print rarely it's not hitting me that frequently, but if you print a lot this may not be the best option for you—you should probably get a more heavy duty, ink-efficient machine.

Easy to set up, works with Apple AirPrint, print operation is smooth and quiet. Print quality is great. Automatic document feeder is a must have IMO. Size is relatively compact and style & color (I got the white one) looks nice. No issue so far and would recommend.

Good little printer being used for occasional printing, primary B&W text only. This replaces an older and more expensive HP all-in-one, and while smaller, get's the job done. Cost per page for ink on the slightly higher side, but the sale price of the printer offsets those costs given it is used for a low volume of printing.

This printer works very well with quality prints, easy setup, and plenty of features. I’ve had printers with large touch screens which I find that I don’t use and they fail. This unit has a very small screen but it tells you what you need to know and your computer handles the rest. Works well with iPhone and iPad as well. Excellent for light use.

Canon is still making great printers 20 years later and that's great. Less than 100 dollars for wifi and Bluetooth printing and it can do photo paper as well. One heck of a buy, setup was easy and painless.

Beautiful product. I purchased this unit, as my older one has seen better days, and needed a retirement. This meets my needs exactly as its predecessor. Fast, colors are accurate, I can print Business Cards, Flyers, and even Pictures with ease. It seamlessly interacts with all my devices wirelessly, Laptop, MacBook, iPad, and even my Phone. Technology, this has it all, PDF document contracts on the spot performance, I just wish it was smaller to fit in my suitcase! Truly travel worthy. Ink costs a pretty Penny, go to Ink Stores online, better option. Not a complaint, once you set it up, forget it until Ink replacement, so far 300pages in black and white, 30% left....

This printer has saved my behind quite a few times already and I've only just received in a couple weeks ago. I can bluetooth connect it to my computer which is hooked up to the TV for easy access. The printing is very detailed and the color ink is crazy spot on.

Shocked at the performance and capabilities of this very inexpensive printer. First of all it's beautiful looking and takes up very little space. I subscribed to the Pixma Ink Plan so I never have to worry about running out of ink. Had an expensive HP Printer which was horrible and kept getting jammed and other problems. The Canon loads all sized of photo paper in the rear tray and the results are astonishing. You'd think I bought the prints from a photo processing lab like CVS has. This is not the fastest of printers but is fine for home use. It scans and makes copies also very easily. Again so pleased with this purchase. Can't believe what I paid for it!!!

The printer is fine for my needs. I was able to eventually connect it wirelessly, due to the caveat. The printer's screen is tiny. So tiny, in fact, that I had to use a magnifying glass to manage to read it. Also, there were NO INSTRUCTIONS about how to enter capital letters, symbols, etc when I needed to enter my wifi password. It took me quite a while to figure that out. The price of the printer was great, but I hope as I use its different functions, maneuvering through steps on the miniscule screen won't drive me crazy.

The product is awesome , easy to install and get set to ready to print within minutes. It is multi device compatible (wireless - phone,/ipad/computer). One best thing is ,the photo print quality is top notch and matches with some high end printers.

Found the secret to clicking in the paper tray

I'm happy with this printer, but it took me a while to figure out a trick to get the paper to load. I don't use the paper feeder in the back - had trouble with that. Also had trouble with the tray, as have other people. I was about to return the printer, when I lifted up the front of it slightly to get ready to pack it up, and the tray finally clicked into the correct position! So now when I load the tray with paper, I make sure to lift the front of the printer a little, and push the tray in a bit more to click it in. This printer doesn't jibe with my router/wifi, so I bought a cable to connect it directly to my laptop.
