I miss a window where i can see how to easily scan something; had to do it through an app,,

Does not stray on, is way slower than my last printer.

nice but harder to use and slower than previous model

Easy setup. Connection to Wi-Fi was very quick using the app, which I already used with another Canon printer. That may have made it easier for me but I wouldn’t expect it be any harder for first time users. Once set up, printing from my phone or laptop couldn’t be easier. The LCD screen is very small, but it serves its function well. After it is set up, I mostly use make changes through my computer or phone. The screen is there just to help with manual set up or display basic information Photos looked nice but darker than I would expect. Using the other Canon printer, the same photos came out with a more natural look. No deal breaker but I like pointing out differences, especially because I would not use it for professional photos. I own a Canon DSLR and am used to printing lots of pictures. My eyes are trained to spot this type of detail. But for day-to-day family pictures, I would use it without worries. It’s not bad, just darker. Just be sure to use Canon photo paper. I’ve noticed a huge difference in quality when using papers from other brands, and vice versa. My recommendation is to always use photos from the same brand as your printer. Text printing is simply excellent, albeit slow. Scanning is easy and the quality is also good. A common theme here is slowness. What I mean is that it is not as fast as some bigger models, but nothing to sneeze at. It fit perfectly in the smaller home office used by my partner. It is a compact printer that doesn’t take much space and that was what she liked the most. Her desk looks roomier after we moved the bigger printer to use this Canon PIXMA TS6420a.

When connected to a PC it’s very slow or won’t print. Do not waste your money

Owned previous Canon printers and this one was such a disappointment from the beginning. A lot of cheap plastic parts. First the feeder tray on the button quit working and then started having issues with the top feeder tray, very noisy and got worst.

I do not care for this printer. I return it the same day.

Junk! Got this to replace my old printer. Nothing but trouble. Not very good photo.

The description promises more than the product can deliver. Operation is not easy at all. Very difficult ergonomically to operate and going through the menu is near impossible if you have vision limitation. Script too small and text crowded. I rdo not ecommend this printer for people over 50.

I replaced a fifteen plus year old HP PhotoSmart, My new Canon printer was easy to install and it came with a quick start user manual. I can print wirelessly using my MAC or my iPhone. Photos have great color and text is good quality plus the printer will automatically print both sides of a document. Also, the scan feature is easy to use. I am really happy with my purchase.

Horrible, loading paper is impossible. It's cheap for a reason

The most user-friendly printer I've ever purchased. I can print on two sides, in color, black and white, photos. I can manage the print settings easily. It has a paper tray underneath the printer and a rear feed paper tray. It's quiet. I don't have to stop what I'm doing to adjust anything while it's printing... I'm amazed that I don't have to intervene to assist the printer mid-print job as I had to do with ALL of my previous printers (I've had many mostly HP - high and low end -). Yay.
