Decent camera for the price, (That is if its still 150) The price changes randomly, But if purchased while on sale I'd say its well worth it.. Its also very worth it to get the Geek Squad protection for 3 years, Because these cameras do not take much torture, but are always fully covered by Best buy :)

Camera has lots of nice features for the $$$ like WIFI. But plastic case does not give me confidence that the camera will last long. But, at the price, seems a good value overall.

We took this camera on a recent sailing trip, where we didn't want to lug a big DSLR. It starts up VERY quickly, and has very little shutter lag. Don't forget to download the free Cannon smartphone app. It adds geotagging and remote shooting (handier than you might think!) capabilities.

It is small and handy, but I like the12x zoom that is smooth. I took lots of videos with it. Wish it came with a lower price.

Product came with only 'start up' manual - no owners manual. You have to go on line and print your own copy. Cost reduction policy at its worst.

The clarity and zoom are great for the size and price. Battery has a long life. Features take awhile to get to and use on the fly. Wireless transfer to phone is slow and a bit wonky. Wish that backup battery was included in the package and too bad the battery does not fit in my old working charger.

My mom has been wanting a camera for some time. I purchased this for her and she loves it! It's the right size so she can fit it in her purse. It's been easy enough to learn the simple features for her to just "point and shoot".

Camera setup is not clear. Even deleting is not intuitive and the info provided does not help. Also it runs out of power daily. Yes it's rechargeable but having to charge it EVERY DAY is not what I expected. What if you were camping and had nothing to plug in the charger?? Beware of use...
