I bought the G7X Mark ii primarily to use for capturing video. I have a Panasonic GH5 and a Sony Action cam, and use both often but the G7X is becoming more and more what I grab when I need high quality video without the bulk of the GH5 or the minimalism of the Sony. The image quality is great and the stabilization is fantastic! Highly recommend this for bang vs. buck.

The size is just right and the pictures are gorgeous. The zoom on it is incredible

I've had this camera for about a year and so far I love it. It takes wonderful pictures and I love that the screen flips so I could take selfies. It was highly rated with Consumer Reports and I couldn't agree more.

This camera works amazing in low light. Better than most dslr's. Easy to use and fast to respond if you want to get a quick picture. Very durable my husband has dropped it on rocks from 3 feet up and got it rained on and there's been no problems. It's the closest camera you'll get to a dslr than having to get one.

The camera is really good. I'm a beginner when it comes to cameras but I like the image stabilization it has when you film. I also really appreciate its small but sturdy build. It makes it really simple to attach to my tripod and I don't need to worry about the weight unbalancing the tripod. What I wish could be better is the weather-proofing aspect. It's currently the winter season and my hands feel like they'll fall off because the metal gets cold instantly. I'm just concerned because it's an expensive camera but I have to be extremly careful handling it outdoors. The downside to purchasing the camera is that there isn't a case that comes with it. You need to purchase a lot of accessories on your own. Nevertheless, I like the sharpness of the images when you use this camera. It has a pretty good auto-focus. The wifi capability is great when I don't want to pull out the sd card and laptop to get the images. Overall, its a really nice camera worth the small investment because you get a lot of features packed into it.

The camera is easy to use for a beginner who doesn't know much about the different settings. The photos come out well and there are several other useful settings that can be learned to get better photos. The only downside of this camera is the app that goes with it. It is really slow and is tedious to download the photos from the camera to your phone.

I wanted to buy a really compact camera that can take better photos than phone, DSLR's are not for me. I am not much of a photographer, wanted something to take quick photos of my newborn. Researched online and zeroed on this little one, it is really compact lightweight camera, i can carry it everywhere in my kid's tote. Photos are clear and bright, even in low light, that is where my iphone's photo used to fail. I was expecting a little more bokeh considering 1.8 aperture but I could never really achieve it, that is the the only disappointment, looks like you really need to have DSLR to achieve it, other than that i am totally satisfied with this camera.
