The G7 X Mark II succeeds the G7 X in the middle of Canon's high-end G series range of compact cameras. Not a huge amount has changed from the previous version, but there are some significant, if incremental, updates.

Good image quality and video stabilization. Battery life is average. Extra battery is a must on trips

This camera is great for vlogs and capturing memories. It’s an all purpose camera. However, I recommend everyone gets the coverage and also, buy a screen protector.

This was a recommended “Best Buy” in Consumer Reports and a I totally agree. Does almost everything the big SLR’s do and then some, but no bigger than your hand. Extremely sharp pics.

VERY amateur user here, G7XII replaced a beloved, but stolen Canon S100, which was easy to love. Learning curve for G7XII much steeper for just occasional use; but it does make good photos. Not using vid funcion much yet, so no opinion. All in all, wish I still had the S100, but 100 series not made anymore. Cost more, too; but so does everything now. Juice doesn't seem worth the extra squeeze.

Just purchased this camera a few weeks ago and can't say enough about it. Definately the best G series camera Canon has ever released. Full featured and yet easy to use. Pictures are outstanding. Low light ability is the best I have ever seen. I would highly recommend!

Great for blogging, photo quality is better than decent! The camera can connect with Bluetooth/WiFi for easy uploads to PC or you can transfer to your phone and post HIGH quality photos to your social media!!!!

Love this camera for my daughter. I gave it to her as a gift. She likes it so much. We went to botanic garder to try it on. Easy to carry and easy to use. Can fit inside her purse. Great resolution and result.

Just got this camera and I love it! It’s prefect for both pictures and video. The picture and sound quality is amazing. Personally feel it is just as good as the big DSRL cameras but, but compact enough to bring everywhere with you.

Very pleased how the Canon GX7 works. It’s been used for action shots, videos and up close pictures both with and without flash. Still getting used to all the options but very happy!

This Canon camera works great and is compact enough where you can take it anywhere. Easy to use.

Very good quality and battery life. The view finder became loose. I had to use my geek squad to have the camera replaced. I think this was just a fluke. Doesn't get hot when using for long periods on continuous use like Sony A7 did.
