As a semi-professional sports photographer my primary Canon camera is a DSLR, but this camera becomes very bulky and clunky for just grabbing a quick snap or it is just all out banned in certain venues. The canon G7X gives you control similar to a dslr and quality is much better than the ihpone

This is a small, compact camera that can fit in your pockets. Amazing for vlogs!

This camera is not bulky, making it great for travel because it's easy to carry/portable. The screen flips over, making it convenient for selfies. The shutter button is really sensitive, so watch out. Also, because I'm a beginner, I don't know how to play around the settings so that my pictures don't come out so bright, which diminish the quality of the photo because so many details are lost.

Used the camera for the first time on our trip to the Canadian Rockies. Took great pics and easy to use. One of the buying points for me was that it takes raw photos. Looking forward to working with those.

It takes great pictures and sharpe video too . If you like vlogging it has a big screen to see what you video plus you cancan flip if you point the camera too . See what you your self . The G7 X,Mark ll is nice camera.

Bought the G7X to vlog as many do and I can honestly say best camera for what I do. The camera is so simple and easy to use literally anyone can use it. I would definitely recommend it.

Great for beginners who’s looking for first camera ! It’s decent for vlogs only downside is that you cannot use an external microphone. But for the price you can’t beat it. Ease of use and easy to operate. I highly recommend for anyone looking to start a YouTube or just wanna shoot videos. Can’t go wrong with it :)

I compared the high ends of Sony, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon digital point and shot cameras and found Canon has the most and highly and effective features of what I need as a switcher from the big and heavy SLR camera.

This camera is good for an experienced user who likes to tune their own settings. As far as it being an easy point and shoot camera if you don’t have the settings right or even on automatic some of the pics are too dark/light or blurry or out of focus. If your taking videos however this is an excellent smaller option video camera that has far exceeded my expectations.
