Love it . it’s the perfect size and the quality of the photos are amazing. This was a birthday gift and she was so excited!

I purchased this as I was about to go on a short vacation, and wanted something that would take better pictures than I could with my iPhone. I selected this one for it's features, and price/performance. With a 1" sensor, this camera was able to deliver detailed images. The F1.8 lens allows for low light photos. The 24-100mm 35mm equivalent zoom range is also pretty decent for an point and shoot. While I wasn't primarily interested in the camera's video capabilities, I discovered this is also quite good. Image stabilization on the G7X Mark II is very good and it was quite handy for taking short video clips. Apparently this is a popular camera among YouTubers because of it's on-the-go video capabilities. This camera is typically compared with the Sony DSC RX100 VI, which sells for about $300 more than the Canon G7X Mk II.

DSLR quality with a point and shoot body! This is a great camera. I took it on a trip to Australia and it was awesome. Very small and portable.

This camera takes great photos! It's easy to use and gives you the ability to edit photos in RAW in the camera. I got Best Buy to price match a lower price and bought the camera using 18 months interest free. Read up on this camera. Great for people who don't want the hassle of a DSLR.

I use this camera for work taking inventory photos for car dealerships. I'm on my second G7X-II after wearing out my first one taking thousands of photos a week. The 1" sensor and wide aperture help me provide my customers with some great photos. The adjustable angle of the LCD helps me conveniently get the angles I want. The compact size allows me to climb in and around cars without worrying about the size of my camera being in the way. The only issue I have is the lack of dust sealing of the lens. It is way too easy to get dust inside the lens. I shoot wide open all the time, so a little dust is generally not an issue for me, but it shouldn't be so easy to get inside to begin with. I keep my lens covered with a slip-on cap when I'm not using it which has helped to keep dust out this second time around.

great quality for a small point and shoot compact camera. very lightweight and honestly the best for vloggers. shouldv'e got this one from the beginning. wish transferring media through wifi was faster, but it could be my own house wifi. can still transfer with usb lightening fast. 5 stars!

I haven't thoroughly tested the camera out yet, but so far, I am very impressed!!! I am excited to spend more time with it checking it out!! I am very impressed with the picture quality so far--they are crisp and have good color. It works really well in low light. I have had a couple of Canon Rebels, along with other Canon point-and-shoots. I wanted a small point-and-shoot to take on vacation. I also wanted a point-and-shoot that will take a good picture on the AUTO setting. I don't want to be messing with settings on a point-and-shoot unless I have to--isn't that the idea of a point-and-shoot anyway? I had a Sony mirrorless, but I had to mess way too much with the settings to get a good picture. The Canon G7X Mark II so far seems to take great pictures on the AUTO setting. I hope it continues to impress me! I will be testing it out more and update this review if I find any issues.

Bought this camera to capture the great moments with my partner and I. It’s a really good camera. Very easy to use and amazing quality.

I compared this model to several others with the intent of buying a cheaper camera. When I was in the store, I compared the quality of cameras with the similar flip screen and Canon brand. I noticed that this was the only flip screen one I saw with touch screen and the quality was beyond the others.

Pros are great photo and video quality, relatively compact form factor, good battery life, ease of use. WiFi worked perfectly for me on iOS (others find it complicated). Cons are slow autofocus, slightly thicker than Sony RX, no 4K and microphone positioning on the top (lots of wind noise, need a dead cat to dampen sound).

10/10 I would definitely recommend anyone to purchase this camera. Easy to use and very convenient and compact.

Bought this based on reviews and the preferences of many vloggers. It is a nice weight and easy to use. The specs make it great in low light situations, however the microphone location doesn't result in great sound. Overall it was a good camera for novice vloggers. Would recommend buying another battery as a back up.

I’ve been wanting a point and shoot camera for a while. It’s sometimes too much work to have my dslr when I’m with my young daughter. Now I’m able to travel light and have a good quality point and shoot for pictures and videos. Definitely glad I bought it!

The Canon camera PowerShot G7 X Mark II 20.1-Megapixel Digital is a great camera, takes excellent pictures and the possibilities are endless. Good purchase for the amount spent. I have purchased Canon camera's for my company for years without disappointment. Definitely would purchase again if needed.

I wanted this for the ease of taking great shots in a small compact form. First night out I took it to a haunted house with friends and even in very low light the shots were perfect! I also did some video and likewise it came out great! Love this camera!!

Love this camera. So portable. Can put it in my fanny pack. I have always been a fan of this range of Canon point and shoots. Great telephoto. I actually bought two at the same time. Can't live without it, so wanted a backup. Very easy to use! Good quality photos!

This is the best camera that I've ever owned. It is light-weight and intuitively easy to operate. It provides the sharp distant landscape photos that I was not getting with my prior compact digital cameras. This excellent camera will serve both the beginner and the more skilled photographer.
