    A great camera, but the instruction manual assumes you are an intermediate to advanced photographer. To take full advantage of the capabilities, you need to be. It is not an easy camera to use for beginners or someone who wants a simple point and shoot.

    Camera came on time. Looks great from the outside. It is a Christmas gift for my daughter so have not been able to open and try, but after reading many reviews on this camera I think it will be great for her.

    I am a daily vlogger and this is my most used camera. I have a LUMIX G7 with several lenses and an external mic but the G7X is still my go-to. The only holdback is the UI. It’s typical Canon but it’s clunky. For photo or video you will not be disappointed.

    The major difference is an articulated screen which adds weight. The added weight makes one think the camera is better but this is not the case.
