Worth the purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This lens has worked exceptionally well for capturing sporting events. It is a little heavy, but it is a much larger lens than the lenses that came with my Canon EOS R10.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The lens produces sharp and clear images, but it takes a little time to find focus. I’m using it with my R7 and it works well overall

Perfect lens for the budget photographer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this lens to get photos of birds and other animals from far away. It's perfect. It's basically an upgraded version of the 100-300 from the older DSLR cameras. Feels great and not too heavy.

Budget telephoto lense
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this lense, it’s affordable and does great on my R10. It does struggle in low light when paired to my APS-C sensor, but that was expected. This lense does exactly what it is advertised to. No complaints!

Good Lens: Don't recommend for bird watching
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good zoom but not good enough for bird watching. That is not due to the camera but someone said this would be good at it. But you need to be remarkably close to the subject for a decent photo otherwise the amount of quality lost isn't worth it. Good lens overall though

Best bang for your buck
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with my purchase! I needed a longer lens for shooting baseball games and this lens did not disappoint. It is quick to focus and small enough to carry on your neck. The price is great to considering lens prices.

Has flaws...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price went down so I went ahead and bought one for my RP. The lens is solid and light weight but to my surprise it's long and not compact. It focuses fast and you can override the focusing ring. A couple of negatives were was a hit or miss. Majority of images were soft after experimenting thru different settings, Av, Tv, P modes, changing shutter speeds and aperture settings. Video was sharp. I find I needed to use a high shutter speed to minimize shakiness at the max zoom range although the IS was on. Another concern was that when I zoomed fast there was a lag on the viewfinder. I have a Tamron 18-400 lens and although it's heavier it's almost the same length using the adapter and the pictures are sharper. In the end I returned the lens. I was a bit disappointed because I really wanted a FF lens for the RP but the performance fell short.
