Wow, I have been shooting with Canon for years and I had a Sigma 150-500mm. I thought that lens was great until I bought this Canon lens. The color, clarity and saturation is so much better than the sigma it’s unbelievable. If you are on the fence, don’t be and buy this lens now.

A little expensive but I think it was worth it. I have no regrets.

This is a beautiful lens. It is lightweight and easy to carry and use. It takes sharp beautiful pictures. I use the lens almost exclusively to capture birds in -flight, and most of the time the birds are not close. I have the old Canon 400mm f5.6 lens which is extraordinarily sharp, but this new lens does virtually as well.

I use this lens to shoot sports. Specifically pro baseball snd hockey. The focus is super fast and the lens isnt nearly as heavy as similar lenses made by other manufacturers. Big fan of this lens, would highly recommend!

Bought this Len on line for outdoor sports and wildlife photography. It is very versatile and gives me wonderfully sharp images. As always Best Buy is a great source for professional photographers and for folks who want high quality equipment

This is a truly fantastic lens. I used it in Alaska photographing wildlife of various kinds, and it never let me down. I was able to get almost every shot I wanted, even from boats. The optical stabilization is stellar and despite the fairly narrow aperture, using auto ISO enabled me to get a great range of shots that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to get. It is a bit heavy, but not so much that it becomes too burdensome to carry, and having it at hand to get the shots I wanted was well worth the weight in my pack or in my hand.

Love it! Beautiful lens, I haven’t made a zoo or wildlife trip yet but it has been exactly what I hoped for. Very heavy for me but it’s to be expected… perhaps I will get a tripod I am a pet photographer for myself and other breeders And I had the chance to do a few photo sessions with it and it’s everything I hoped it would be, every whisker and every hair. You won’t be disappointed
