Love this little lens! Takes amazing photos, used on my trip to Yosemite. I preferred this over my 24-105 f4 just because it captured so much more of course.

This is a really good lens! It has a wide angle so you can capture any thing and everything! It works amazing indoors because it allows you to capture all of the surroundings! I use it mainly for my content creation and it gives a wicked angle to the content!

I assumed because this was one of the cheaper lower models lens it wouldn't focus well and wouldn't be too great quality wise - I was WRONG! I am literally obsessed with this tiny little lens!

Definitely a great lens for the price point! As a professional wedding photographer, I've been happy with all of the photos I've used this lens for. It's a great wide angle lens to have in a pinch and works well for landscape shots.

I upgraded to the Canon RP, my first mirrorless, and it's been a blast working with it. I love having a full bag of prime lenses for the type of work I shoot, and this one's no exception. Wide angle, clear shots, easy to use. Well worth the price.

A nice cheaper RF lens that is pretty good for content creation. It works well and its wide angle gives room for video cropping when recording or using as a webcam. But when you record in 4k ussing the canon RP the auto focus is very slow and has a hard time finding the subject, no issues at at 1080p though.

The Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 STM, is just like its brother 50mm is affordable and cheapest ultra wide lens in the RF system. This is a compact and the cheapest lens of RF system for landscaping photography, astrophotography and vlogging. The image quality is not sharpest, but you can get decent photo from it. The negative is that f/2.8 no image stabilization, and no weather sealing. However you cannot beat the price that canon offer for 16mm lens.

Good: Very light. Great price. Takes small size filter which are cheap.
Bad: Raw images from this lens are unusable for professional use.
