Nifty wide-angle

Don’t bother

It has horrendous distortion even stopped down, and the whole point of owning it is for wide open night shots at 2.8. There’s software and in camera distortion correction but neither works exceptionally well, and it’s an overwhelming disappointment that begs the question of why even bother if you’re going to produce something this bad.

Nice addition to my lens collection

It is a great buy for a low cost. I am able to get quality shots without massive distortion. I am glad I was able to get a good buy from Best Buy.

Bought it for 4k on the Canon R which has a crop, so after the crop the vignette is not an issue. For photos you can fix it in post.
