I know, you probably think I'm crazy, but I actually prefer this lens over the 28-70 f/2. I've shot with both, and I can say that this lens is so so sharp and I prefer it. I bought this one instead of waiting for the 28-70 f/2 to come back in stock, and honestly, I'm glad I bought this one over that now.

This is the ONE. If I could only use one RF lens, this is it. The 24-70 focal length is perfect for events, and the addition of IS in the new RF version has majorly enhanced an already outstanding lens. I purchased this lens for video work because of the IS and haven't taken it off yet. If you're even thinking about this one, you should probably pick one up.

Bought this to replace my EF version as I switched from my 1DX to a more compact and lightweight R6. One thing that they do not tell you is that some of the older EF lenses cannot be driven by the R5/R6 batteries at high framerates due to the voltage compared to the higher pro 1D batteries. That being said, the lens feels very solid, and I have no doubt that it will be as good, if not better, as the EF version that it replaces in my bag!

This lens is absolutely incredible. Super sharp images, great bokeh, and the perfect amount of zoom if you are going with only one lens in your set up. Highly recommend.
