BUYER BEWARE

Went to chat they transferred me 2 different times no help i went in the store to get it replaced with a new lens since this one wasnt working. They turned me away. Wouldn't replace it or repair it. Paid for a brand new lens got a used one that won't focus. I will never buy from best buy again.

Restocking Fee

I was not aware of the restocking fee, otherwise I never would have purchased the camera lens. There were only two small unsealed plastic bags securing the contents of the purchase and I only had the item for about 8 hours, when realizing I had the wrong purchase. This is how Best Buy treats a customer of decades. I understand, to some extent, the cost for restocking, but the amount is way unreasonable. Very unhappy and surprised with Best Buy.

The Absolute Best All Around Lens

I do professional wedding photography so I need a lens that gives me versatility, the ability to shoot in low light, and feels great in the hands for 8 hours. I love the short throw that makes it easy to go from a wide angle 24mm to get close up at 70mm. I also prefer the weight and balance to more expensive 28-70 2.0. The IS also makes this a great lens for video! At 2.8 and 24-70 you basically get the equivalent of a 24, 35, 50, and almost the 85. Sure the price may deter some hobbyist but it's actually a much better alternative than buying (and having to carry) three or four prime lenses.

I spend easily over 20k a year with this company to have them charge me 15% restock fee. PC Richard and Son now has all of my business.
