This is my 2nd lens for the EOS R and it did not disappoint.

Its exactly what you think, decent, fast, but little things like focus breathing and the front element moving in and out constantly while trying to use an ND just makes it... Not get used often... Its great to start but its hard to say its better than buying an adapter and using an ef version.

The price is too high. But, the quality is top class. But, the price should have been around $300 would reasonable.

I've been using this with an EOS RP for family photos, web conferencing, and recording YouTube content. It has handled everything superbly and it's been easy to use despite me being a total novice with cameras. For RF lens it can't be beat for the value and practicality.

Great lens for those using the R series and loves videography the quality you get for the price of this lens is like no other I bought specifically for videos so I haven’t been using for pictures but I’m pretty sure it’s capable of handling the job

This is one hell of a sharp lens. I use it for almost everything and it does its job quite well. It has an in built image stabilization which completely eliminates camera shake. I use it for portrait, wedding as well as landscape photography. I believe Canon is not compromising on quality while making RF lenses even if they are not L series. This is a must have lens for Canon R series camera body users.

I own a canon 35mm 1.4f L This lens works as a better walk around lens. Surprisingly enjoy the macro feature it has.

I am getting nice crisp shots with plenty of bocca if I want. Has a solid feel.

This is a fast prime lens. I use it mainly as a full frame 35 mm but you can use it in APSC mode for a 56 mm for some extra reach.

excellent for video & portraits! are there better lens, yea but for more money. If on a budget… worth it to get into R glass

Amazing RF lens! This lens is very sharp on my canon RP. I love the focal length for a slightly wider shot. Very good lens and shipped with care from Bestbuy.

Great lens , good value for the moneys a little bit of vignetting on the corners but easy fix in post, good Street photography lens
