If you have the 35mm rf 1.8 there’s really no need for this lens to be honest. It’s so much near the same focal length as that lens. But for the price it’s worth the purchase. It depends on what you do if you feel like it’s worth it. Portrait work would be great! However, I thought I would use this lens more but it just sits and collects dust in my camera bag.

Very good lens for portraits, or if you do photography on animals/objects id recommend it

Can't beat this lens for the price. Large aperture good for low light and subject isolation. 50mm focal length gives a natural perspective. This lens is small and light but the optics are surprisingly good.

Excellent product & a value-for-money purchase. We were helped by a friendly & helpful Best Buy staff, who provided clear & adequate details on the product. Although they didn’t have the lense in stock at the store the day we purchased the lense as well as a Canon camera, it didn’t take that many days for the lense to be shipped to our house. Very good customer service!! Keep it up!!

Purchased this to pair with my R6. Just wanted to see how a native RF lens would work with the camera. I was using the adapter with my L lenses. This nifty 50 is insanely sharp and fast!! I wasn’t expecting these results for this price. It has me considering going all RF mounts at this point. But this lens. You won’t regret it!!
