    70-200 f2.4 lenses are a special category, but what sets this lens apart is the intelligent software in the R6 Mii that effectively makes this a parfocal lens. Best of both hardware and software combined!

    This lens is incredible. The EF versions were always fantastic, but Canon managed to take it to the next level with the new RF version. The compact footprint is great for my camera bag too.

    I replaced my EF 70-200mm 2.8 IS with this lens. The image quality is just as good or even better. This lens is much lighter and easier to travel with. My only concern with the lack of a sealed barrel that doesn't move while zooming in and out. But that is what makes the lens smaller and lighter. The price was hard to justify but in the long run, it is worth it.

    Purchased this lens using my BestBuy Card back in Oct 2024. I am writing this review towards the end of Nov 2024 and I still have not received my reward points. >:( Regarding the lens, it's an amazing lens. I typically rent it for assignments, but decided to buy it because it is my go-to lens for a lot of my assignments. BestBuy needs to do better when it comes to saying you earn points, but then they don't show up on your account.
