Great flash for the price!

The 430ex iii is a great flash for the price. It's on the smaller side. It has plenty of flash power to light up any room. Only thing I don't like is that it's not weather sealed.

Much Better Than Built-In Flash
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently purchased my first DSLR camera from Best Buy and wanted a flash that offers a lot more flexibility than the camera's built in flash. I do a lot of portrait photography and the Canon Speedlite allows me to bounce the light off of the wall or ceiling rather directly in the subjects face. Big difference in the quality of the photo.

I bought this external flash for outdoor photography and I am very happy I did. It makes my subjects really pop and does a great job of eliminating shadows. I was also really amazed at the range of the flash. This probably doesn't matter to most but I just like the look of it on my Canon T6i.

Canon's Speedlight 430EX flash is a workhorse... yeah it's their entry-level flash, but what a great performer. Been using this flash for several indoor and outdoor sporting events, works like a Champ that it is! You'll love it!
