A: Use the diffuser pointed to the ceiling. The bounce off an 8 foot ceiling should give you enough light, unless you are shooting photos in the dark. Other light in the room is surely helpful.

A: No, the T7 Rebel is not compatible with this external flash.

A: AA batteries
A: No and no. This flash will work as you describe it IF you buy a master flash like the 600model. For a setup like yours you would need to buy one 600model as the master on your camera and 3 additional 430models to achieve what you described. You never need more than one master (630) the rest should all be 430's.
