Works good and the flash is bright. Definitely brightens up even daylight pictures

It's good enough for portrait if you have a good camera, not enough for a professional tho

this is my first flash I ever own I must say I'm still learning all the controls but I'm love it I just use on auto for right now and my lowlight indoors photo shooting game have improve a lot it works good in daylight to might I add

I bought this for my old Canon Rebel XT. The flash on the camera was not very good and I needed much more light to take pictures of rooms for real estate sales. The bounce feature and the power of the flash made the job much easier.

Great Flash! I use my 580EX II but needed a back up for a Wedding Day. Worked pretty well, much more smaller than 580EX II but gives out better lighting and more lasts longer per "charge" (4 AA batteries)

This is a great external flash for my Canon EOS Rebel SL1. I have used it both indoors and out and am very happy with the results. It is so nice that it works automatically with the camera to set the proper exposure.

I bought this along with other canon flashes to make a system of 3 flashes. Great integration of control and as a stand alone flash this is very close to the more expensive model and easier to carry..

I didn't know what I wanted to buy and I tend to buy the most expensive for my photo equipment in which the sales person told me he loved photography and had this flash and it was great for the money. Carrie

I wasn't sure what to expect since I'm new to the photography world but this speed flash changed everything! I highly recommend purchasing this. I have a Canon 70D and my stock flash wasn't enough at times.
