This camera is great for those who have toddlers not that expensive Incase something happens

I bought this camera to replace a HD Panasonic that had a faulty auto-focus. The camera is very lightweght and works like any other video camera. I didn't like the manual lens cover, I prefer the automatic kind but of course that costs more $$$. The camera operates fine, but I found the video screen lacking in brightness and color. My biggest complaint is when I went to download my videos to my computer, the software seemed to download my videos just fine but I couldn't get them to playback. After spending about an hour with the software download instructions, I finally gave up. Mind you, this is my third video camera (Sony, Panasonic) so I'm used to working with the software. I found this software totally unworkable. If you just want to playback on the video screen or maybe with an HDMI hookup to your TV, you may be OK buying this camera. But if you want to download and edit, forget it.

It works well enough. Very compact. Gets warm when used for more than 15 minutes.

I've been video recording my daughters soccer games for college videos, and the quality is great! The only problem I'm having is getting the videos downloaded on my computer :(

Bought this camcorder to use on our trip to Big Bend. Has a good picture and is easy to use. Biggest issue for me is that the viewing screen is difficult (sometimes impossible) to see if there is any kind of sunlight.

Great item purchased to record my granddaughter's first birthday day. I know you can record on your phone but I wanted something that could be used as she grows and can easily be burned to a disc to be saved and it can be shared with the family. this is the item.

This is a great little camera. I use it on a small tripod to capture video and audio (through an external wireless microphone) of my church service. It has the mini HDMI output I needed to connect it to my computer. The picture is great. Autofocus is crisp and doesn’t jump around. I love that I can turn off the auto-power-off feature for those Sundays when the sermon runs a little longer. My only complaint is that the touch screen menu is sometimes hard to navigate. It has tons of options in the menu and unless you have nimble fingers, you may find it easy to accidentally press the wrong button.

I am using this camcorder for live streaming. It is one of the few Canon models that you can do this with without buying a dummy battery to power it. The power cable that comes with it keeps it running when streaming online. It gets a great picture for a camcorder and it has autofocus feature that follows the movement of your face when you move around. I have an Elgato capture card to make it communicate with the computer. You will need one of those to make it streaming compatible. The capture cards have been a bit scarce but I believe they are starting to become more available as time passes.
