against my better judgement i purchased this phone i have never heard of "coolpad", needless to say within 6 months i am looking for a new phone. this phone freezes and very slow to the point where sometimes when i get a call the screen is black for abt 3 or 4 rings then it shows up who is calling, anytime i try to search the net or just scroll through my phone it freezes and just slow, other than that................ oh the camera is descent

This phone is really cheap and offers great selections of features for me. Fast even though it's listed 2 GB memory RAM and I'm loading games and YouTube, hasn't really experienced delay at all

Too many issues. Apps shut down super slow the internet is as slow as dial up. And it's not my internet. Poor reception. Messages have issues downloading, the phone does what it wants which is nothing useful. I couldn't be happier if it was ran over.

I needed a quick replacement phone and this one fit the bill. Actually a little nicer than expected. Clean bright screen and feels good in the hand. I think I will be keeping this as a back up phone.

Only reason I gave one star is because I can't give negative stars.. So I purchased this phone for my daughter.. That was my first mistake.. Phone worked good for about a month. She put it on the charger at night, went to get it in the morning and broke.. Its powers on for 5 seconds then shuts off for 2 seconds. Trouble shot the phone with coolpad tech support. No better off than when I started. They told me I have to send the phone in (at my expense) and wait to get it back fixed, or a brand new one. Poor customer service. Then I called best buy about issue and they wanted NO part in helping with the issue. Way to stand behind a product you sell.. Long story short don't buy this phone unless you want to spend even more than the initial coat of the phone...

5.5" HD Screen. 16gb internal. 2gb ram. 1.4 quad core. How can you say no? Its a great all purpose phone. Does just about everything I throw at it. I had a Idol 3 (alcatel) and the phone was plagued with problems and a faulty sim card tray.. Stay away from sim card "tray" phones. This phone will do nicely as a daily driver

Excellent budget phone at 50.00. Actually better than some phones at twice the price. large 5.5" screen and 2gb ram w quad core.. Cant go wrong with this price.. If you can get it unlocked then even better..

Bought for my daughter. It sure seems good with all the features etc, until you start getting blue screens. That was our phone #1 after a week. Exchanged it without issue, Tukwila staff were so nice. We're at about day 20 on the second one. It's been a little glitchy this week. Charged overnight, this morning there's a black screen and the red light blinking. Won't start, dead phone. We're past the 14 day period. So I call it almost complete garbage. Absolutely ridiculous.

There is an expert review and a customer review on Best Buy for this phone and they both rightly say that the cameras are too dark,the customer said even with the brightest lights and flash on. I actually already bought this phone in February just for the camera and it's so true that even set to the brightest setting and with many bright lights on in the room the pictures although many clear,are too dark. I had only bought this phone to use the camera and I never had any phone service at all, I hadn't used the camera in 6 months,and when I took some pictures of my mirror and lamp in my bedroom to test how much clearer the distance taking the pictures makes, and all of the pictures came out totally blank even though I heard the picture snap and the 5 second timer I set was working and I tried to edit some of the pictures I took 6, and 7 months before but it said there was an error and couldn't edit them. So I rebooted the phone and just for 1 minute the picture came back that I took of a table just to test it,and then pictures taken right after were all blank again,so I rebooted it again and then the whole phone died,even though it gets fully charged. And now the company said you can only have the year warrenty if you had phone service and a phone number they ask for,but it really should include the software and camera too,and even if I had gotten the phone service, I wouldn't be able to use it anyway now!

Even for a low budget phone, this phone lacks in performance and quality. My wife and I both have (had) this phone and 1 completely stopped working after 3 months and the other has become progressively less responsive despite all maintenance efforts. In addition, a very minor drop broke the volume control on side. I've owned many budget smart phones over the years and this is the worst performing phone of them all.

Constantly jams up. I have to reboot several times a day

The specs are decent but the phone freezes a lot and it's probably because the apps can't be moved to SD card (???!!!)
