Captain Toad is a wondrous puzzle game that is simple to learn, but has some amazingly clever puzzles. Highly recommended.

this is very fun game, read alot of negative reviews....sigh. Alot of puzzles, which is great, using the mind is great once in a while, cant be too easy with simplicity. It is an "adventure" as most of mario character games are, but i can see why its NOT for everyone, but i love this game!

This is a great game in which you solve puzzles and find hidden things. I am only giving it 4 stars because it is rather difficult for my kids to play. My son is 7 and got far in the game and my daughter is 4 and struggles on every level. Other than that is fun to play and adds a different twist on puzzle solving. It really makes you think which is great. Some levels are really easy and some are really hard. I guess if you need help just you tube it. Got this game on sale and was worth it. Just wouldn’t pay full price.

Bought this game for my nephew (8yrs) for his birthday! He loves his Nintendo switch and has become a big fan of games. He's quite good as he beat Mario Odyssey at least 4 times. He has also become really good on Mario Kart. He enjoys puzzle games and I've been hearing great reviews on Captain Taod. I actually plan to get this one for myself at some point.

Gorgeous, clever, and charming puzzle game. The switch version comes close to being the perfect version, containing the best visuals and most amount of content. The only minor issue I have with this version is that the game was really designed around having dual screens (WII-U, and then 3DS). Because of this, the game is filled with lots of onscreen tutorials and prompts that, in the other versions, were reserved for the secondary screen. This is a minor complaint but it kind of ruins the clean presentation you get on the primary screens of the other versions. If these prompts don't bother you then this IS the definitive version of captain toad.

So far this game is pretty neat. The levels are fun and are great for unwinding after a long day of work. The game is probably targeted for kids but as an adult, it’s till entertaining. Sadly, I wish there were more levels for it. For adults, pacing is required to prolong the game. On Nintendo online there seems to be add-one for a small fee. Hopefully they add a more robust levels for longer game play.

I bought this game because I wanted something fun but not to challenging. Its perfect super cute world you can take your time to find everything. It would be fun for young kids but if you are an advanced gamer its probably too easy for you and I might not recommend for someone really good at gaming.

We've been having fun with this game. The levels are small, and fairly easy so far, but we aren't all that far into it. Our little one seems to be able to do most of the levels just fine.

Never have I bought a game knowing very little about it end ended up enjoying it so much. Each level has the same goal, but is executed a bit differently. They are mostly relaxing puzzles you play at your own pace and can try to complete at a minimum or go for all the goals. And there is replay value as a challenge unlocks once you solve the level. There are a ton of puzzles and even more you can buy and this game really is a ton of fun!

This game is a remastered version of the WiiU Captain Toad. Having never played the original, I bought with a fresh perspective. The puzzle elements are clever and sometimes fairly challenging. There is a little bit of a story but that's largely not what the game is about. The puzzles use a 3D aspect as you can rotate the map to see around walls and objects. It takes a little to get used to but it works. Solid game as a time waster with some amount of replayability.

This game was just perfect for me and my 4 year old though if you can't tolerate or too sensitive with the motion in the screen, this game might not be for you.
Like my husband cannot deal with it as you can imagine how a 4 year old plays, he moves it all around and it's really distructing and can be very nauseous other than that it's a great game especially for kids!!
