Seeing little Captain Toad walking around each level is one of the most adorable things to see in gaming. Great music too!

I love this game!
I'm so excited Nintendo decided to port this game to the Switch with some Odyssey levels. The game is super cute and charming, and can actually get pretty difficult when you try and get all the collectibles. The graphics look really nice on both the Switch and the TV. It's cheaper than most Switch games at $40, and it's just as fun as the more expensive titles. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy puzzle games!

Gorgeous, clever, and charming puzzle game. The switch version comes close to being the perfect version, containing the best visuals and most amount of content. The only minor issue I have with this version is that the game was really designed around having dual screens (WII-U, and then 3DS). Because of this, the game is filled with lots of onscreen tutorials and prompts that, in the other versions, were reserved for the secondary screen. This is a minor complaint but it kind of ruins the clean presentation you get on the primary screens of the other versions. If these prompts don't bother you then this IS the definitive version of captain toad.

You would think that Toad havin his own game would be boring but lemme tell you now that the exact opposite happened when I played this game. Fun, challenging, and unique is what you're gonna get when you play this.

This is a great game in which you solve puzzles and find hidden things. I am only giving it 4 stars because it is rather difficult for my kids to play. My son is 7 and got far in the game and my daughter is 4 and struggles on every level. Other than that is fun to play and adds a different twist on puzzle solving. It really makes you think which is great. Some levels are really easy and some are really hard. I guess if you need help just you tube it. Got this game on sale and was worth it. Just wouldn’t pay full price.

We've been having fun with this game. The levels are small, and fairly easy so far, but we aren't all that far into it. Our little one seems to be able to do most of the levels just fine.

Bought this game for my nephew (8yrs) for his birthday! He loves his Nintendo switch and has become a big fan of games. He's quite good as he beat Mario Odyssey at least 4 times. He has also become really good on Mario Kart. He enjoys puzzle games and I've been hearing great reviews on Captain Taod. I actually plan to get this one for myself at some point.

So far this game is pretty neat. The levels are fun and are great for unwinding after a long day of work. The game is probably targeted for kids but as an adult, it’s till entertaining. Sadly, I wish there were more levels for it. For adults, pacing is required to prolong the game. On Nintendo online there seems to be add-one for a small fee. Hopefully they add a more robust levels for longer game play.
