This game is so much fun to play with my 7 year old! We like to do the 2 player option to where we can solve puzzles at the same time. It's challenging for both of us. One person controls Toad, while the other controls the screen view and selects/moves things on the map. It is WAY more fun than I expected!

This game is just as advertised: Captain Toad Treasure Tracker AND more. You get the original game, but with improved graphics, plus double the number of levels and challenges, once Toadette takes over. There is so much to do in this game that completionists (like myself) will be playing levels over and over until they score 100% every time. This game is a lot of fun for the money, but just falls short of 5 stars, due to occasionally repetitive gameplay.

Read a few favorable reviews prior to purchasing. After playing I'd give it a "meh". Probably OK if you can find on sale but not worth the standard price. Only played a handful of time and been in its box ever since. Can be fun for younger gamers trying to solve the treasure puzzles, but gets repetitive for older gamers.

great game for anyone who enjoys puzzles and light-hearted adventure games. Toad is a cute character and the gameplay is extremely fun with charming visuals. Hopefully this game gets a proper sequel in the near future

I bought this game a couple of months ago and me and my girlfriend have spent at least 70hrs playing this and trying to complete all the achievements in it.
My girlfriend is not a gamer at all but this game has put her on! Amazing!
This is a great game for everyone, from small to grown folks.

Captain Toad’s Treasure Tracker is a really fun 3D puzzle game. I play with my wife and it’s a fun relaxing thing to do together (each of us uses 1 joy con) at the end of a stressful day. Recommend to anyone who enjoys creative puzzle games

I owned and played this for the Wii U. Lots of fun and wanted to play through it again with the extra levels add-on. Great co-op and currently spending some father/son time beating it again. Awesome family-friendly title like you’d expect from Nintendo!

Bought this game because I love puzzles and brain teasers. It’s been really fun and a good change of pace from some of my RPGs. My wife has also been playing it and has been addicted as well.

My family and I fell in love with Captain Toad during his bonus levels on Super Mario 3D World. So this game was a no-brainer for us, but still Nintendo managed to push the concept (exploring character who is clever but slow and can't jump) to it's limits. This kind of game is perfect for handheld mode.

"Captain Today: Treasure Tracker" was easily my favorite game on the Wii U. The Switch version is every bit as good, with a few bonus features/levels. However, if you already own the Wii U version, I don't think it's really worth the re-buy.
