I like the game as it presents neat puzzles and plenty of them. A little on the easy side unless you’re trying to 100% it though. Also not a ton of updates over the wii U version but it is nice to have on the go on switch. The best thing is the price. They didn’t make this one a full $60 like DKCR Tropical Freeze but instead $39.99. With the GCU discount that’s down to almost $30. Certainly a good deal at that point for what you get.

New favorite game! The boards are fun yet challenging. They are so creative and I love the feature of redoing each board to find pixel toad. BUY THIS GAME especially if you’re a Mario fan. You won’t regret it.

Awesome puzzle game for switch. Easy to jump in and play a few levels when you have some spare time. The game is simple yet provides challenges as you progress for those trying to 100% the game. Two players is even enjoyable and the way to play if you play in docked mode. Great price for a great game.

I'm been eyeing Captain Toad for a while with its unique approach to a puzzle platformer. My daughter really enjoyed playing alongside me in the "Assist Mode" as well as watching. Great art style. Relatively easy puzzles. I wouldn't recommend buying it at its full price, but a good buy when it's on sale!

Didn't play the Wiiu version, so i was happy to pick the switch version up. Was nice that Nintendo only charged 40 instead of their usual 60. The game has a lot more content than i expected, and it took me quite a while to 100% the game. Level design, music, and graphics are all great. Fairly easy, but there's a good challenge every now and then. The endgame content is pretty disappointing, and i wish there were more boss fights.

Love this game. I heard it was super fun and it doesn't disappoint. I am a college student but find this game alot of fun...i haven't always been an avid gamer but find the switch quite suits my style.

I ordered this for my 2 oldest kids (4 and 7) and they love it. I never got the Wii U version, but this plays great on the switch. Easy enough for my 4 year old who's finished Mario Odyssey on his own, but still challenging puzzles for adults as well.

I bought this game because Origami King made toads seem very loveable and funny too. It's a fun game with good challenges, clever levels, nice visuals, great sound and overall an awesome game. Definitely recommend to any Mario/Toad fan. Thank you.

Bought this for my twelve year old daughter! She says it was really fun and not too hard to play. It features Toad, Yoshi, she says its a bit like a maze and has different levels. She plays with it fairly regularly but has not completed the whole game! Recommended for 12 year olds!

A good change of pace game from what is typically out there. If you missed this on Wii U, I suggest you don't miss it this time on Switch. Plenty to of levels make this game last quite awhile. Good for younger players in transition from basic games to controlling games in a 3D space.

First off this has all the DLC of the Wii u edition, that only make it worth the purchase for anyone whom missed out on the Wii U. Got this for my 7 year old girl and lost my Switch for two weeks lol. Get ready to spend lots of time helping your young one figure out the puzzles

I enjoyed the game for it's cute diorama scenarios and puzzles. Midway through chapter 2, I was getting burnt out on it. Playing the 2 player mode made the game way more fun. I highly recommend that over single player if possible.

Like dungeon after dungeon in a Zelda game, but with adorable Toads saving the day. My kiddo loves this game, though some of the levels do test him to the max, he feels extra rewarded once he figures it out.
