This game has some well designed puzzles. Each puzzle is structured like that of a diorama, and it is up to you to figure out how to navigate the level and reach the star. There are 3 gems you can collect in each level that require additional puzzle solving in order to get. In addition to that, there is one challenge you have to complete and one "Pixel Toad" you must find in each level. Overall, there is a lot of stuff to do in each replay of the level. One thing I should mention is that the levels can feel easy most of the time once you figure out how to solve them. This does not make the levels any less enjoyable. The visuals are excellent. They are very cartoony, yet they are very sharp and clean. Overall, this game is beautiful. The soundtrack in this is also great. Overall, the $40 is worth it. While I am not complete with the game, there is easily over 50 levels in this game. I cannot wait to finish them all.

I got this game for a family member for their birthday so this review comes through them. They had a lot of fun playing the game and even played part in co-op as well. Highly recommends it to puzzle game lovers.

This game takes the Captain Toad levels from Super Mario 3D World and makes a whole game out of it. Fun bite-sized levels that are easy to pick up and play for a few minutes, or binge for a lot longer. Lots of fun to be had here.

At the start, this game can be a bit challenging. But as you go on it’s really fun and makes it extra challenging trying to complete the extra task on each mission. Great puzzle mind game.

It is really great. A must game for everyone to play. It seems simple but it also can be challenging as well. A secondary character that is put into his own game. It might seem like it is a kiddy game, but i assure you that it can be challenging for adults as well

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker for Nintendo Switch is an easy to pick up puzzle game. The levels are complex and will likely require you to replay them multiple times to find all of the hidden secrets.

Fun game! Meant for 1 player but they're creative to make it fun for 2 as well

This game is a slower paced, puzzle-ish game where you working your way through each stage is the puzzle. The visuals are cute and it's fun to play for even younger kids.

I bought this game for my 7 year old sister. I thought it was going to be hard for her but she was able to solve the puzzles and made it through! Great game!

Loved it on the 3ds, now I can enjoy this game with my son. He loves it.

I tend to skip Nintendo console generations (didn't have the gamecube or the wii u, no 3ds either). So I never got to play the original version of this game. I got this for my wife, who isn't a fan of stressful situations in her video games. She plays games like Stardew Valley, or point and click adventures where exploration is more important. She loves this game, as she can take her time looking for coins without feeling the anxiety that comes with timing jumps properly or any of the fast twitch gaming skills necessary to git gud at FPS games.

Fun and simple puzzle game. I bought this because I enjoyed the Captain Toad puzzles in Super Mario 3D World. Bought the DLC with the extra levels because I loved the game so much…but wish they included these levels with the switch version without charging extra. Even with that though still a fun time and a nice game to relax and play.

Love this game, i play it all the time! You can play by yourself or with multiple people!
