This game has some great ideas but it's brought down by the lack of an automatic camera. You constantly need to change the camera yourself every time you go around a corner and it gets frustrating. I would recommend it if it's on sale.

So the easiest way to understand Captain Toad is that you are a lil' bugger that romps around a rotating field of view hunting for treasure. However, the biggest reason that I give this 5 stars and highly recommend it is for its NEW and updated coop experience! What Nintendo have done with Captain Toad is to have two little adventurers running around that the wife and I just enjoy to pieces. Much more friendly that New Super Mario Brothers U!

I got this for my five year old, I downloaded the demo and he played it so much. Within a weeks time i decided to pick this up. It's a really fun puzzle game, it has that typical Nintendo charm and design. He hasn't stopped playing it since I got it for him. I will replay levels multiple times. It has some good options for 2player and also has amiibo functionalities. It's not the longest game but it is definitely worth it in my opinion.

I didnt expect too much from this game. It's a puzzle game. I never owned it on the Wii u so I got the re-release since it looked like a great time pass. If you like casual puzzle games and own a switch, pick it up.

The game was ok I thought it was going to be more like the mini games in 3D world at first they were but then it changed very quickly, I would wait for a sale.

Have a 6 yr old who loves this game. I’m a Mario franchise fan but this one is not for me. Not a big fan of the “cube” play. Kids like it so that’s all that matters to me.

Fun game! My son loves it. Interesting levels and a good variety of difficulty.

It's an okay game, nothing really stands out about it. However since the switch is a portable system this game really fits well as you can play it for short periods of time on the go.
