We love Mario games and this one is a great addition for those that are Mario fans. Some of the levels are more difficult than others to play. If you enjoy Mario 3D World, this game is a great addition to that one.

This is a great puzzle/platformer game for kids or longtime Nintendo fans. It has a great art style and plenty of levels to unlock.

Like many of Nintendo's games, they know how to focus on a single concept and make it imaginative and fun. Each level is a self contained puzzle, full of style and imagination. It's one of the must buy games for the WiiU.

My only complaint with this was that the Toad Amiibo was so hard to find so I could play this fully--Nintendo, please figure out how to get these into stores! I love this game way more than I expected I ever would.

Taken straight from Mario 3d World on the Wii U. This game is pretty straight forward. Its a puzzle game. Lots of cleverly hid items that help if you find them. For a $40 game originally the game is worth every dime

This game is a spin-off from the popular minigame in Super Mario 3D World (SM3DW). I remember wishing there were more of these stages in SM3DW, and Nintendo heard my plea by releasing this game. This is a really fun game. The soundtrack is nice and the gameplay is unique. You can use only the buttons and joysticks, but there's also the option to control the camera angle with the gyroscopic controls (by moving the gamepad). It's very intuitive! I smh happy with my purchase.

My son is enjoying his I pod. It is three generations a head of mine and it has a cool camera. Love face time with him visiting relatives it came in handy.so glad too save money on a refurbished one as well. No problems if there was any issues best buy will take care of them

If you have played Mario 3D World on the Nintendo WiiU then this game will be familiar to you. This game is just like Captain Toads stages in Mario 3D world, which I enjoyed and was my reason for purchasing this game. Its also a great value...I got this game for just $40 at Best Buy. The gameplay is basic...each stage is like a puzzle with several tasks. You can collect coins, gems, and gold mushrooms, but ultimately you just need to reach the end of each stage to collect a star.

This game is really fun and pretty hard to put down. It is kinda short and you might not feel overly compelled to replay levels after you've completed them, but you'll have a ton of fun going through it.

Interesting design...simple and challenging. The cute design definitely gets the younger crowd hooked on the Mario franchise and some levels are a bit more difficult than you would expect!

I very much enjoy playing this game. It is highly adictive and I ended up spending many late lights playing it. If you enjoy playing puzzle games such as Journey then you will love this game.

Take the cool-idea-a-minute stage concept from the Mario 3D World series and apply it to a puzzle platformer where you can't jump, and you get Captain Toad. A nice change of pace for fans of the Mario series who are looking for something a little different.

Sent as a Christmas gift to my new son in law and made his Top Gifts post on Facebook, so I'd say a winner...lol. And easy purchase and free shipping, best price, so winner for me too.

Hands down a brilliant puzzler that will challenge and make you smile. What was a side game for 3d world, treasure tracker is now a full game. Added bonus levels if you have 3d world saves on your wii u. Replayabilty is there for you 100%ers. 8/10

Finally Nintendo has given the Toads their own game and it's a great one. If you're really into puzzle solving and charming characters, look no further Captain Toad is for you!

This game is extremely fun, and it's bite-sized portion levels are great for casual gaming. The game has a lot of charm, and the added amiibo support is also a nice addition.

It's nice to see Nintendo giving "minor" characters their own games. Only thing I wish is that this was multiple player, other than that, completely satisfied.

Highly recommend this game. Puzzles are fun and can get challenging for the completionist in you. And there will be DLC and amiibo support added in the near future.

This game took me over two weeks to finish, with some of my play sessions being very extensive. Not a game to buy a Wii U for, but a must-have for any Wii U owner.

This is an excellent game. It's very addictive and charming. Perfect difficulty level.
