Small size makes it easy to position. Turns off viewer after a few seconds to prevent distraction while driving. Picture quality is good. Easy to transfer to computer like any digital camera. Menus are not easy to follow and does not appear to retain settings once unit turns off, which returns selections to default settings, so no real point in changing since unit is powered off when car turns off. Instructions are not clear insome areas, such as what different folders created by unit are for.

    Amazing dash cam

I can disprove other reviews immediately. The battery is not meant to be used stand alone. It’s meant to have just enough to save in case of loss of power during an accident. Or just save as you turn the car off. It clearly says that in large bold text in the manual. Second of all the image quality is incredible. It’s easy to use and the gps is super accurate with speed. Within 1mph normally, if not dead on. The save feature for the clips is 10 times better than any other dash cam I’ve ever used. You just hit the hazard button and boom it keeps recording, just locking the file so it doesn’t get overwritten. The sound quality is also very good. As far as the app is concerned, I haven’t tried any of that because I would not use that function. I just put the video in my computer if I need to or just play it back directly on the camera. Do not listen to these other reviews as they are untrue and clearly the user did not read the USER manual. I definitely recommend this camera. By the way I’m not just some customer... Certified auto tech, and car electronic guru. Been installing for almost 10 years.

    OK CAMERA

for my first dash cam it's ok. I have had it for a couple of weeks now. Directions for programming are vague and takes time to figure it out. I even emailed their help line but have never received an answer. Price was right for the camera. It has GPS, DATE AND TIME STAMP, SHOWS SPEED ETC. Video quality seems good including night time. But like I said this is my first dash cam, I actually bought one for my car and one for my truck, and have nothing else to compare it with so that is why I am showing that I would recommend it.

I do love the features this has and it is very easy to use. It can use up to a 64gb micro SD Card and does loop so you don't run out of space. I would seriously recommend upgrading the memory card instead of using the one that comes with it, because if you want to save a few pictures or videos they can quickly eat up space. I leave it on 1080p 60 fps setting as it seems to be better on that setting but it can do 2k. Really neither one allow you to get a good shot of a license plate unless you are still. But that has to do with the mount and type of vehicle its in. If you are using this in a luxury car or SUV your fine, but if you are going to be using this in a RZR or Off road vehicle look at GoPro. All in all it's a great product and does what it is supposed to do. The mount, even though i thought it would loosing and be crappy, has held up and appears to be working fine even after all the time i have had it. Would buy another one if i had to. App can use some work that comes with it, but it does work.

After I had the dash cam installed I had to figure out how to use it. The instructions were very hard to understand so watching the video on youtube helped. When I called in for assistance they answered right away and spoke clear english, however I got the impression that I was bothering the person, and it seemed like the problem was common which they should think about addressing in the instructions. I found out that using a bigger memory card, 64, was too big and that I could only go up to a 32 card to replace the 8 card provided. However after getting through the start up I find the video very clear and useful for review.

Received this a gift for Christmas. I like the small size, it does not obstruct my view when driving. Picture quality was surprisingly good. My only complaint is the instructions are printed so small they are unreadable (at least by me). The set-up is intuitive so that not a hold back from getting it operating, just am not sure I am taking advantage of all the features.

I like the product so far -- but I wish it came with better documentation and was more intuitive in operating. It produces a good quality reproduction, and can be downloaded fairly easily by removing the chip, putting it in an SD adapter and putting on my computer. I have not tried the smart phone -- wi-fy down loading process yet.

This is my second dash cam. The first one melted in the desert sun. hopefully I can write an update and let you know how this one fares after a summer in Vegas. Like most dash cams these days, the resolution is adequate. Setup and use is pretty simple and quality seems good.

Many options on setup with menu. Very high resolution pictures in MP4 movie format. Instructions very poor, very brief and incomplete. Some how the dash cam recognizes The menu and all options work when USB is connected to computer. When connected to car power using included USB power cord, no options are available, but uses previously set options from computer. Beautiful movies in very high resolution.

The camera works great, good picture, and outstanding play. The issue is that the software is entirely unintuitive. The accompanied instructions are brief and vague. On-line support of the associated app is also not much help. Looked for some support tip videos and was also unsuccessful. So, I'm still trying to push and peck at buttons everyday to see what this can do. I was able to download a video of my drive, so I know that it works, but I have no idea how to delete it..... other than that, I'm doing a lot of guessing.

I was a little hesitant to buy this since it didn't have the greatest rating. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. The instruction booklet isn't the greatest, it doesn't explain what the settings mean. You basically have to stumble through the settings by trial and error. The picture of the videos saved to the memory card is great (more in view and better clarity than what you'll see on the device screen). I've had no issues saving/retrieving videos or with using the Android app. I'd definitely recommend this camera.

Sp to start this dash cam only lasted alittle over 3 weeks, the shorted amount of time any electronic ive owned has crapped out. I say in the title design flaw because the way the power cord connect to the camera, it bends and has the cord weight on it thus shorting the cord out in about 16days so couldnt return, then after 21 days the whole camera crapped out. I sent it to the manufacturer, they have you pay out of pocket, and now 3 months or more later im still waiting for my replacement, it was approved to be replaced with in a month, just they haven't shipped me a new one and they dont know why.

Camera is great, the menu features sometime dont work consistently, but this has only been a few times out of the years i have had it. This does not offer a way to play back video on the device unless you have the Virb app or pull out the card to play back the video. I personally feel i get better image quality and intuitiveness from my Garmin then i do this unit. Dont get me wrong i like it, but have recently switch it out for the garmin and couldn't be happier.
