Old school Rush worth listening to!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rush is without doubt, in my opinion, the world leader in Progressive Rock, inspiring numerous Progressive Heavy Metal bands for the last few decades. With that said, "Caress of Steel" is a must purchase for all Rush and Progressive Rock/Metal fans. "Caress of Steel" provides the listener with instrumental interludes, precision guitar with percussion and bass performed almost majestically together to form a style of music unlike any other band in history. "I Think I'm Going Bald" is a funny song lyrically, a surprise actually to this particular set of songs, yet I always want to crank up the volume for this one. Enjoy this much overlooked Rush release, it will make you want to buy all the earliest Rush out there.

replaced my worn out vinyl
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Except for Bastille Day i didn't have any of these songs in updated format and I was captivated and facinated by this album so much in my youth that the sun was bursting forth over the rocky chains into the grooves of my vinyl record flooding them with light. I realized it was time to reach the digital mountain sign post on the other side. Now my windows shake, rattle, and roll once again instead of hiss, snap, and pop. Nice!
