Brian depalma was at the top of his game in the 70s tonearpy 80s and this one is one of his classics. One of the best Stephen king adaptations.

An aging film, but still pretty creepy. Not so much due to the psychokinetic nerd vengeance it builds to, but due to the realness of the awful treatment of the lead character. Especially between her and her mother. Some of the heavier effects scenes toward the end could have been shot more realistically, but the human aspects of the film still hold true and are plenty effective to anyone empathetic to the world of the emotionally abused nerd/geeks, especially those who also love Stephen King-style vengeance stories.

Sharp looking steelbook of the 1976 classic horror film. One of must buys from this newly released lot of horror steelbooks. Only complaint again was that it did NOT include a digital copy.

A story about Cary, a shut in and abused socially-awkward young woman who discovers she has psychic abilities, including telekinetic abilities. Eventually Cary is pushed to the breaking point, with dire consequences.

This is still a great movie, and better than any of its remakes. But it still hasn't aged well, and some of the director's choices are kind of laughable.

Carrie is a decent horror movie, although it hasn't aged as well as others from that era. It does have great performances from Piper Laurie and especially Sissy Spacek in Oscar nominated roles.

I bought this release for the picture and sound, which are amazing, but the special features are lacking. Sure, there are a lot of special features, but they are boring and repetitive.

With this new restoration this is the best presentation of Carrie out now. And with some new cast interviews as well as crew this is a nice edition to have any horror fans collection.

The orginal Carries, while not scary, has one of the most memorable final scenes in horror history. This still stands on its own even with mediocre reboots.

Classic Horror Movie From The 70's. This Version Is Much Better Than The Remake. Great Performance From Sissy Spacek. Good Watch For A Late Saturday Night.

Awesome movie, now looks even more awesome with the new scan, some great features and commentaries. Shout Factory did another great job with this release!

Sissy Spacek was a perfect cast for this movie .. You root for her bigtime..remember this back in high school the movie has aged well.

Nothing is better than seeing classic horror in hi-def. Carrie is definitely more beautiful on Blu-ray. A must have for true horror fans.

I got this beacause I wanted to see the original again. I seen the latest movie and it was definitely good!

Carrie is well acted and tells a unique story that keeps you in suspense waiting for the fantastic final scens.

This is the best home release of Carrie, a nice amount of Extras but they did not include the Commentary though.

I don’t believe that they have made a better deal than this one and it was never gonna be bad
