Requires removal of ball connector

Garmin does fit snuggly

Great protection but not roomy.

I wanted another case because my old one was misplaced. The salesman helped me locate one which happened to be on sale, great price. It fits well on my unit but doesn't leave room for the accessories nor can you use it while in the case. I was a little disappointed.

Garmin 2589LTM GPS case

I should have returned to Best Buy for credit, but never did. I did buy a hard case for the GPS that I purchased from Amazon and that works perfect and I can even tuck in car cable in case when packing in my suitcase and then using on rental cars.
