Pixar Cars 3 videogame on Xbox
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I would say this is a great kids game - if you love Pixar Cars and want to continue the fun with Lighting McQueen then this is the perfect opportunity to do it. This is the first Cars game on next gen consoles and it does not disappoint. Gameplay is fun, Graphics look great, sounds\music is great. Just keep in mind this is not a Forza or Gran Turismo its solely based on the movie with those characters and locations. I would also like to note that $19.99 would be the perfect price\value for this game - I honestly don't think this game is worth the full $59.99 price tag.

Way overpriced for a CARS game...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is little different from the others that preceeded it. Adequate graphics, sometimes annoying controls, limited gameplay, just sub-par in every respect when reviewed as a $59 game. Fortunately I am a game club member, so got a good chunk of the price taken off, and used reward zone points to lessen the cost even more. If my son wasn't such a huge Pixar Cars fan, I never would spend this much money for such a mediocre kids game. This game may earn 4 stars had it cost $25 or under, but not at sixty bucks. Graphics are alright but hardly worth bragging about, but it seems that the controls are even worse than they were in the first Cars game. The races have a little variety, and the free play area is a nice change of pace. I do miss the challenge of finding all the postcards and such from the first game though, things you could do as a single player in more of a campaign mode style setting. There are no such things here other than tricks, which is where it really just loses the replay value. If you get it on sale, it may be worth it, but don't pay full price for this, it's a total ripoff at that price point.
