Its the exact same game with some visual polish and some new challenges,and it will be getting free updates that add multiplayer and more challenges.They even fixed some of the more annoying parts of the game.

A great game and glad to have it on the Switch, but it's the extras that made this purchase a must. The game manual was a real treat and the soundtrack made this a must.

Very retro game I honestly never heard of it until now. I cannot play any new games, because of dizzying graphics so this one will do. Enjoy and test it out for yourself

I picked this up because everyone says it's one of the best indie games ever. It's good but not amazing as everyone says. It's a bit formulaic and the buttons are mapped off with no option to change them.

This is the third time I've bought this game for a new system. It's got a solid story and excellent metroidvania style play, and a good amount of secrets to discover.

As a fan of the game, this a very nice package if you enjoy collecting - the box art is great and it comes with a detailed instruction booklet from the SNES days.

I have bought this game 3 times now, it's that good. They said they will be adding a multiplayer mode, but even minus that right now this game is as good as ever

So a labor of love made by a single developer is on the Switch, with local coop built in to take advantage of the Switch features. Definitely recommend.

Played this when it was a Freeware game on PC. This version is very nice with multiple extras and even a soundtrack with detailed instructions booklet.

This game is not bad for the price! You get a few bonuses inside the case like a mini soundtrack and an instruction manual reminiscent of the NES days!

it a older game but now you can play it on the go and they released an update so you can play coop...i appreciate these games getting a physical release on the switch

Excellent retro game that is a metroidvania type which will quench the nostalgia thirst. Plays great on the big screen and in tablet mode.

Gave this as a gift and he liked it. He had played the older cave story and enjoyed it, so he was excited to play this one.

This is a release of an old game. There are no graphics updates or gameplay revisions. However this is still a great game and is a lot fun to play on the go in the switch.
