It was good enough for watching moon and saturn. With the extra filter, my family had so much fun watching solar eclipse. Seems a bit too expensive but you could easily spend 200 dollars for just one science museum visit for your family.

Not worth the money...save up for a better scope!

This is a good moon scope, but anything more than that, you will be disappointed. I even invested in better lenses and that resulted in marginal improvement. I could see Saturn and its moons. But I only knew it was Saturn because of the Starsense app. I found Jupiter and could barely make out the rings. It is so small that it is not worth the effort.
