I was really excited to get this, but was a little disappointed in it. I haven’t been able to get the star sense app to align perfectly yet for it to really be useful, and the red laser on the scope of mine doesn’t seem to always work. I thought the planets would of shown up a little bigger/better on it (I haven’t been able to see Saturn’s rings yet), but it does give nice views of the moon!

The celestron is a great telescope! Although it is large so you have to have a place to keep it. The interactive mobile app is great and the laser sight makes Star gazing so easy! Would recommend to anyone interested in astronomy.

awesome product for the price i havent utilized the cell phone adapter at all as i was mistaken in my assumption that it was a adapter to help record through the eyepiece when in fact its only use is to calibrate and with the apps interactive map.

Mobile device software not accurate with locating celestial objects. Great family fun though.

Excellent product. Used it (with lens filter) on the eclipse earlier this year. Grandkids Love It!

This is an excellent telescope for a beginner or just a casual user. Especially liked the smart phone bracket and app. The detail of moon was amazing!

It is an amazing item. My son loves the app that come with it , so he can located everything in the sky. Ours came with a free Shutterbug credit and we are looking so forward to getting a great picture to hang in his room. Maybe if i am lucky my son will let me look through some time.

Love this guy My family and I use it on summer nights while camping. Its a fun little activity to do together. Plus, the scope is fantastic

The phone guide feature really helps to locate stars in the sky. The view through the lens is powerful, you can see Jupiter pretty clearly

Was easy to assemble. Haven't actually used it yet. It is difficult to figure out how to use it. I was somewhat disappointed in how cheap and flimsy the materials are, especially for the price. and the legs will not lock with the center support piece like it is supposed to.

You can see moon clearly, you can see faint Jupiter and Saturn rings though faint, view finder is not that great, good value for money.

Very good for a beginner telescope the only negative thing is I can't seem to get the 10mm lens focused correctly

We spent time last summer looking at the night sky. We used binoculars and, while they worked okay, I wanted to have something stronger. After much searching and reading reviews, I chose this telescope. It was a gift for my husband and he really likes it. It was a good purchase.

Good little telescope. The StarSense APP is pretty easy to use and set up with most "smartphones" Not great for seeing really distant stars and stuff, but you can get some really awesome views of the moon.

Slight learning curve, but the mobile app helps. Lens options are great for starting out

A little hard to learn how to use the fact you have to keep adjusting telescope all the time and one little move, It’s a humongous move in the sky. Overall, it’s a great telescope for beginners.

Telescope works as expected. Downloading software was a little challenging. I have given this only three stars, because it was due for pick up on the 16th and I was not available for pick up till the 23rd. I understand Covid, but 7 days later is unacceptable. This was not my first choice in telescopes and only got it because it was going to arrive before the 21st (Saturn and Jupiter's alignment).

Good telescope but I thought it was computerized. I’m disappointed with that fact. Would recommend as a good starter.

Purchased this item for my daughter. Need to be in a dark area in order to view the night sky activity. Great buy
