Ordered this telescope as a Christmas present for our up-and-coming astronomer. The alignment process was quick and easy, allowing us to try it out on the first clear night. We were impressed with the reach of the telescope, being able to see the craters of the moon up close. I will say, take it seriously when the instructions tell you that even the smallest misalignment when initially aligning the telescope with the included app will impact the accuracy when using the app to help point out the wonders of the night sky - ours was a bit off initially. The moon was still easy to find, but things further away from earth, i.e. Jupiter, Venus, were harder to track down with the slight misalignment. *The misalignment was a user error, and had nothing to do with the telescope itself.* We realigned it the next morning - which takes less than 5 minutes after you’ve been through that process before - and we were back to viewing with better app accuracy the next night. All in all a great telescope, with great quality of viewing. Easy to assemble, and compact enough to leave fully assembled. 100% would recommend.

Was great until I got a newer phone, then not supported. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is not currently supported. The smartphone support was the only reason I spent what I did on this particular telescope, and now it doesn't work.

Arrived damaged and was taken back to store in hyannis

There were multiple parts missing from the box. I didnt check before I left the stire.

You can't see much, the only thing you can see is just the Moon, other then that is just a waist of money.

Missing pieces. And awful tech support (Celestrons' Tech Support). No problems with Best Buy. Celestron provides no support. Go with a Meade product.

Looks so good under my Christmas tree. I can’t wait to unwrap it and start unwrapping the mystery’s of the universe.

Bought it and it is so sensitive, I would say, you cannot breat while operating with this little guy! Not a good thing at all

Can't rate it before using, but not happy the the Quick Setup Guide that was supposed to be in the box is not. No instructions whatsoever. Going to search online.

I thought I was buying a new telescope but apparently, I bought a returned item that was damaged and BestBuy didn't notice. Now they are sold out everywhere

Its kind of hard to use couldn't line up yo see anything. I would not recommend this product.

Doesn’t work. The app works fine, once the “object" has been targeted and its green, can’t see nothing in the eyepiece. Nothing. Will be returning.

Will be returning this item. Better item on bhphoto and Amazon. More magnification and better controls with those other items.

Seems like it was kinda hard to focus. So I took it back.

It is very difficult to use and we are unable to see anything out of it.
