Very easy to install, we replaced our standard keypad so we can allow deliveries to be left in a separate garage.

Very easy setup and clear picture. Battery life is going on 2wks without charging, temperatures dropped to 32F

Added camera and easy to use keypad to our myQ garage door. We needed two as you need 1 for each door.

Wow, this thing is terrible. It's no surprise it's on sale at 50% off. First, it took numerous times to connect initially and setup. Second, once I thought I was good to go after setup, I subscribed for additional features and then mounted the unit (within 10ft of an access point). The unit then finally connected again after 20 minutes and showed a weak signal. I returned unit and am attempting to cancel the subscription (even though it's within the 7-day free trial, they say no refund, so I will likely have to dispute with CC company). Stay away!

The description identified as being compatible with my garage opener, but during setup you find that it doesn't. Download installation instructions and verify prior to purchasing.

A very add on for home security right from your garage. I would highly recommend this priduct.

The battery in this device is not great, even when it is only set to notify if it sees a person it maybe lasts two weeks.

I got this to add to my MyQ enabled garage so that guests can easily access the house (We use the app on our phone). The Smart Garage Video Keypad has a terrible setup process in the app. It will not fully set up and then it will lose the device in the app, but not allow you to set it up because it already exists. This is need of a UI redesign. For now it sits in a box unused. From a hardware perspective the battery is difficult to remove to recharge. It's a poor design that requires pliers to pull on the battery clip to remove it. I would wait until they come out with the next model and an updated app.

I bought a smart garage video online so they could send it to my house and I received an email that they had left it at my home and there was nothing outside my house and I checked my post office and nothing, I called bestbuy to check what I did not receive anything and their response was that they had already delivered it and they did not want to replace it and I checked the photo of the address where they delivered it and it was another address that is not mine, I told them and they do not understand, I was left without the product It was a bad experience with bestbuy

I have always been a major proponent of Chamberlin garage door openers and it seems as though they are continuing to build out their various product offerings with added smart features to which this keypad does exactly that perfectly! Right out of the box you can tell that this is a premium product as it is not simply made of cheap flimsy plastic and just feels like a premier product. Upon getting started the biggest hurdle was charging the keypad in order to get it setup as it does take a few hours to fully charge. However, upon getting it fully charged it took less than 10 minutes to get it mounted and all set up through the app. The one place that Chamberlin truly shines is through their MyQ app as installing and maintaining all their products through one unified app is so easy and absolutely seamless. Upon getting the keypad set up though I did look around in the app to test the various features. The app provides a multitude of features including changing the motion sensitivity of the camera, adjusting options for night vision, adjusting the volume for the two way communication, turning the microphone on/off, and establishing pins for the door. I will say the ability to setup multiple pins was a great feature that I definitely have taken advantage off and when it pops up in the app you can even see who has open/closed the door. Onto the actual performance though I was thoroughly impressed with both the quality of the video and audio of the keypad. The video was much clearer than I expected and with the night vision you can easily identify faces. The other feature I really liked with the keypad was the Home button where you can simply press that button to close the door without having to type in a code. There are two potential qualms with this keypad though that prevented me from giving it five stars. The first is minor, but is more of a hassle as charging the keypad evolves taking it entirely apart to charge the battery pack though hopefully charging is few and far between. The bigger issue though is the requirement for a subscription in order to fully utilize the camera. Today with the mounting number of subscriptions an onboard storage option would have been nice to see as I am unsure if I want to pay another annual subscription just to fully utilize the video features. Overall though, this keypad is still top notch especially for the initial price as the install is a breeze, the app makes setup and use extremely easy, and the breadth of features cover everything you could ask for. For those reasons I would recommend this to nearly everyone and if you don`t have an issue paying the annual subscription fee then it is a must buy.
