    The battery in this device is not great, even when it is only set to notify if it sees a person it maybe lasts two weeks.

    I got this to add to my MyQ enabled garage so that guests can easily access the house (We use the app on our phone). The Smart Garage Video Keypad has a terrible setup process in the app. It will not fully set up and then it will lose the device in the app, but not allow you to set it up because it already exists. This is need of a UI redesign. For now it sits in a box unused. From a hardware perspective the battery is difficult to remove to recharge. It's a poor design that requires pliers to pull on the battery clip to remove it. I would wait until they come out with the next model and an updated app.

    Purchased this about 3 weeks ago and tech support has yet to fix the bug that has not been allowing me to install it. I had about 4 phone calls with 4 different people who couldn’t help me. Apparently a software issue that they can’t/ don’t know how to fix. I’m glad I paid for a broken product out of the box

    Wow, this thing is terrible. It's no surprise it's on sale at 50% off. First, it took numerous times to connect initially and setup. Second, once I thought I was good to go after setup, I subscribed for additional features and then mounted the unit (within 10ft of an access point). The unit then finally connected again after 20 minutes and showed a weak signal. I returned unit and am attempting to cancel the subscription (even though it's within the 7-day free trial, they say no refund, so I will likely have to dispute with CC company). Stay away!

    I bought a smart garage video online so they could send it to my house and I received an email that they had left it at my home and there was nothing outside my house and I checked my post office and nothing, I called bestbuy to check what I did not receive anything and their response was that they had already delivered it and they did not want to replace it and I checked the photo of the address where they delivered it and it was another address that is not mine, I told them and they do not understand, I was left without the product It was a bad experience with bestbuy

    Do not buy. It has to returned within a couple of weeks. By the time we tried install, only to find it's not compatible with our garage opener, it couldn't be returned
