The amount of time it takes to heat depends on the amount of water it has inside. For approximately 1 lt it takes around 2 minutes to heat. Bought it for $14.99 and it's worth every penny.

kitchen essential. must have for heating up water when you dont have an instahot built-in. this takes so much time out of boiling water the old fashioned way. really a convenient way to heat up water/anything really. Efficient. wish it came in a cute cream color though!

I decided to buy the cordless tea kettle, and I found it to be a great investment. To me, using this type of machine to heat water for tea or other drinks is a lot more efficient than using a stove or microwave, and it provides value for your payment as well. Kudos!!

Nice electric kettle to heat water quickly. However lacks auto cutoff when kettle is lifted off the base. it gains power back when placed on base.

This little portable kettle is so awesome. I have my Coffee or tea in less than 4 minutes. I'd definitely recommend. If you need boiled water for cup noodle this is my go to for my 10 year old. Very safe for her to not use the stove.

Been using it for 2 years now and it never fails. I make sure to wash it once a week to avoid build up of minerals. A simple but excellent product.

I purchased this on August 1, 2020. My only initial complaint is that the spout is glued to the kettle by what looks like hot glue, which means it smells like you're using a hot glue gun when you initially start using it. It decided to stop working today, December 25. I guess I'm lucky it broke during the 1-year manufacturer's warranty period? Looked at the user manual and it doesn't describe my issue. Put in a customer support request at Chefman's website.

It only loses a single star because the part where it shows how much water has been poured into it is behind the handle and makes it hard to see.

Does what it's suppose to do. Returned the first one as there was an issue with excess residue in the spout. Second one appears to be fine.

I previously purchased elite kettle from Best Buy and did not work after 2 months. Then I purchased this product 2 weeks before. So far no issues. Satisfied the product.

No fancy features or anything but the kettle does the job at a very affordable price. Happy with the purchase and no complaints.

Completely stainless steel, except at the water indicator level. Did not ideally want plastic there as well, but still fine.
