Q: Anybody had rust problems whit this model ? Thanks
A: The spots that are appearing on the bottom of the Chefman Electric Kettle are NOT RUST. They are usually mineral deposits due to the high mineral content in the water which differs state by state and district by district. The marks should disappear if the kettle is washed or cycled with some acidic cleaner (a mixture of 50% white vinegar and 50% water).
A: The water doesn’t stay hot for a very long time. I would say it stays hot for about 1-1.5 hours. But it’s ok, Bc you can start it again and it’s quick and fast to start and finish; and voila you have hot water all over again. It honestly is one of the best parts of my day. Hope that helps.

A: There are two plastic buttons inside, that means you would have plastic elements every day. But you can't find it through the picture Bestbuy provided on line.
