The lid stopped opening and close. The kettle works fine

Our Chef'sChoice kettle died after 12 years. We bought this one as it was looking very much similar to the previous one. Total disappointment. The steel is so thin, it is almost like a tin can. The lid does not open full way (to 90 degrees). It makes very tricky to pour water from a Brita filter as we got used to. I am wondering if this design solution was properly tested from usability point. Will return. And for those concerned with plastic, touching the water - there are plastic washers / nuts inside.

It was okay for Basic use. But not for professional use .

I've been using this Chefman electric kettle for 6 months now and it just stop working. Good thing I bought a 2 year extended warranty. I will return this item to Best buy. Just an advice, this is a decent kettle but make sure to buy a protection plan.

Lasted for almost year, not sure if its the total life. Initially blue light indicator stopped working and after couple of months its totally dead. Was using for hot water only that too after meal and would not recommend.

I thought it was all stainless inside, but there are two plastic button in side, don't want to have plastic elements in my every single day. Very disappointed to bestbuy. I thought Bestbuy carry good quality items.

I liked it at first but after several months of use, the bottom inside has started peeling and when you pour water out of it, particles come out as well. Stopped using it now.

Really handy and efficient. It makes making hot drinks in the morning much easier. I’ve always liked electric kettles because I grew up on them so having my own, especially in university, was a huge help. Still works til this day and I bought it in 2021!

Worked well until it stopped working 10 months after I purchased it. Definitely won’t buy this brand for tea kettle again.

Stopped workings after a few uses. Threw it out since it was so cheap

Works fine for about 7 months, and then stop working. The light is still on, but it produce no heat. I contacted Chefman warranty through their website, but have not heard back after a whole week. Not reliable product, dont buy!

Brought this and loved it, months later it just stopped working. It was good when working.

I usually write really good reviews but this electric kettle did not work for me. Too bad I threw away the box and couldn't return it. So I'm stuck with it I feel that the water has a weird taste when u boil it in it

This is not good product but button is not in right place

We were excited about the purchase of this, used it a few times and the more we used it : sadly it changed the taste of the water which made the tea taste nasty

Didn’t even last a year before it died on us. Disappointing. I’m sure it was just a lemon. Most of them are probably okay.

Bad,bad...it only works for 2 months. get one from deal of the day , i really don't like it.

The hot water pot stopped working in about 2 months. I boiled water once or twice a day to make coffee. Totally unacceptable.

Metal peeling off inside the kettle and just stop heating. Do not buy this product
