Best pot I found so far to make larger quantities of hot tea. I've used loose tea and tea bags. Now I can buy all the flavors of loose tea available. Still need to experiment on quantity. Can get a little strong. Easy to pull apart to clean. Only thing I found that might be a problem for some, the lid only opens so far to allow for cleaning. The basket does come out. Does have temperature codes on handle for the kind of tea you use. Black tea to herbal. All in all a really nice pot.

Great Pot for Iced Tea

Ice tea is a staple in our house. The price of a gallon of tea is bordering $5.00. I decided I would try making my own. This pot is perfect for heating the water and the measurements for the amount are on the pot. Using the tea bags works great. I haven't used the infuser yet. So far I can't find any tea leaves locally and not sure what type to order. I will get there.

Very good kettle, good quality. There was just one thing that wasn't quite perfect: the manual didn't explain how to remove the tea infuser, so I had to search online for a video tutorial. Another minor issue was that the cord was a bit short. Everything else was perfect.

This kettle heats the water quickly and has options for different tempratures to fit different types of tea, and a separate - and very useful - sieve to brew tea within the pot. I now brew my tea in the pot rather than using tea bags for cups which is less messy and produces better tea,

First off, I think the price is great for all of the options. Second, I love the fact that I can adjust the temp and that I can actually brew a pot of tea with it.

Got this about a month ago as our old one broke; it's super easy to use as it has different levels of temperature depending on how warm want it and it lights up in different colors depending on the level that you want. It's a nice quality tea kettle that has a filter so can put in a tea bag but we just warm up warm water so don't have to keep cleaning it. Works great; probably the most used small kitchen appliance that I use everyday.

Excellent ptoduct so quiet compared to other kittles i used. Nice to see water is boiling, and it beeps to let you know water is boiled. I think it has other temperatures, but i only use the highest setting. It has the tea making accessory, but not using it according to users to can stain it and inreally dont want to spend time in cleaning it

Like the temperature control functionality. The product is sturdy and will last long

First Note - Temperature Selection. There aren't really instructions to tell you how to select the temperature setting that you want, unless I somehow missed them. That said it isn't too hard to figure out. Press the power button and then press the temperature selection button until you arrive on the setting you prefer. Done!
Second Note - Lid Complaints. I did see quite a few reviews mention difficulty opening the lid. It really just requires a bit of finesse. Basically, when you depress the button to release the lid, if you simultaneously, lightly drag backwards towards the handle at the same time that you are depressing the button, the lid will pop open every time without fail.
I only recently bought this electric kettle but I have already gotten more than my moneys worth from it. It heats water quickly, with several different temperature settings ranging from 175 to 212.
It does begin building up a mineral deposit where the heating element is, but that is to be expected.
The inclusion of a filter basket is nice for those times you want to make a pot of tea directly in the kettle (I don't). I have used the basket as an impromptu mug sized infuser though and it worked well enough with minimal "dust" in the bottom of my cup.
Finally, I feel like the cord and plug seems to get warm occasionally, it could just be my imagination though. I am neurotic about potential fire hazards so I keep this unit unplugged unless I am actively using it or going to be in the general area of the kitchen.
Overall I think this is the best choice of the units available for quality vs cost.

This is a great tea kettle. I love the design - color lights to indicate the brewing temperature and the infuser. You can brew just two cups or a enough tea for a 8 people.
A warning for high altitude locations: if you program the kettle for maximum brewing temperature (212 degrees) it will not turn off automatically. We think that water boils at a lower temperature at high altitudes and it never reaches 212 degrees. Works fine on other settings.
