Only one thing that I don't like is the lid doesn't come off, which makes it a little hard to clean.

Awesome hot water kettle

The replacement didn’t last more than a year either due to the moving on-off switch that would stop working. This unit doesn’t have a mechanical switch so we’re expecting it to last a lot longer. So far it’s working flawlessly and the color light temperature settings make it look really cool in the kitchen.
