This game is so much fun. It's a shame it didn't catch on in the U.S.

The game is so, so cute. The titular character is adorable (especially the Amibo included with the deluxe edition), and the environments are visually inventive. The actual gameplay falls a bit short, though.

This game is very fun and captures a great sense of exploration. The amiibo that is packed in looks amazing, and is uniquely the only "life-size" amiibo to date as well. There are some complaints about the small bit of randomness to stage selection, but it is easily countered with in-game systems for those who want to be precise in stage selection.

Both of my sisters were completely satisfied with this item. The second we left the store, my little sister whipped out her Nintendo and happily started playing the game, turning the device to show me some enemy or funny line of dialogue now and then. Though my older sister didn't have her Nintendo on her, she was just as interested in the action figure as my little sister was in the game. She kept squealing "It's so cute!" and "I love it so much!". I particularly liked the design of the action figure's tail and head. And from what I could gather from the glimpses I saw of the game, its graphics and mechanics are pretty good. The game even has a cute storyline. Something about saving the world by finding all of the snacks that the aliens stole and hid.

I bought this strictly for the Amiibo which ended up being sold separately later. The Amiibo looks great but the game itself isn't very fun.
