Did Not work for me

I purchased this product for the bell to place in my hall way due to the app was killing my battery on my phone. The only way to get the signal strength strong enough to work I had to have it plugged in on same wall doorbell was mounted on and the others would not be strong enough. I took it out of system and the door bells work great. We contacted Ring and they suggested to use wifi instead of extender. That defeats the purpose of having this product.

It did the exact opposite. It made the signal strength worse. Another con is that the Ring chime pro only extends wifi to ONLY ring products. I gave 2 stars because although it did not extend wifi range, it did make the doorbell ring notification louder. For some reason the Ring doorbell chime is often delayed ,not that loud, and is difficult to hear in a multi level house. I ended up taking back and getting google mesh system, which is working just fine. The mesh system extends wifi to ALL devices connected to the internet, not just the ring products.
